CDC, IIT Palakkad, successfully conducted a Physical Outreach Programme on Career Opportunities by the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) on 7 January 2026.
The session provided students with comprehensive insights into career pathways, research opportunities, recruitment processes, and growth prospects within IGCAR and the Department of Atomic Energy. The speakers highlighted opportunities for engineering graduates, science students, and researchers interested in contributing to India’s atomic energy and advanced research initiatives.
The interactive session enabled students to clarify their queries regarding eligibility criteria, selection procedures, and the nature of work at DAE units. The programme witnessed active participation and enthusiastic engagement from students across disciplines.
